I stumbled across this article (via Mark Evanier) about actor Efrem Zimbalist Jr. receiving an award from the real FBI for his portrayal of "Inspector Erskine" on the 60's Quinn-Martin production "The FBI". I remember watching the show with my step-dad on our "colored tv" and wheezing about the announcer at the beginning saying "The FBI - In Color - A Quinn- Martin Production". What a wheezer.
