Fuck 2009

I've decided that I'm not going to set any resolutions or goals for 2009.

Fuck 2009.

And 2008 was a piece of shit. My mother got sick and died, one of my best friends had a stroke and died while on vacation in Hawaii, one of my largest clients is now out of business, my wife is in the real estate business (guess how that's been) - of course there's more crap that happened - those are just the highlights.

The only ray of sunshine is my daughter and son-in-law had a son. He's cool. But since he's only a little more that 5 months old, he can't talk or walk - he just eats and shits. Oh, and the other ray of sunshine is that I'm still alive. I guess that has to count for something.

Given the fact that 2009 is situated right next to 2008 - well, the stink factor comes into play. I can already smell it. 2009. Ugh!

So, while everyone else is busting their ass to make 2009 a "great" year - I'll be concentrating on 2010. Now that's a year full of hope and promise.

Here's to a glorious 2010!
