One of my favorite shows is The Venture Brothers on Adult Swim, the late night version of Cartoon Network. The show is a homage to the old Hanna Barbera series from 1964-65 Jonnny Quest. The Venture Bros chronicles the adventures of two dopey teenage boys, Hank and Dean Venture; their super-scientist father, Dr. Thaddeus "Rusty" Venture; the family bodyguard, secret agent Brock Samson and a host of evil villians and wannna-be evil villians. The satire is excellent, the animation superb and the voicing spot-on for the characters. For example, Brock, the bodyguard is voiced by Patrick Warburton (David Puddy from Seinfeld). The new (3rd) season just started and you can view (late) Sunday evenings. Check your local listings.
