Randall Munroe, an engineer and web cartoonist, was a little pissed off at Verizon when he wrote this check, wouldn't you say?
[0.002 + e^(2pie)]=535.4936555 and the limit of the sum of (1.2^n) as n goes to infinity is =1. Therefore, $535.4936555+1=$536.49 | So, this check is (approximately) made out for $536.49
Oh, notice the handwritten note in Memo?
That was e^(i*PI) which = -1, not e^(2*PI), thus the check was made out for 0.002 + (-1) + 1 = $0.002

Thank you, Bill!
