"A young hunter is more often than not, a hunter for life. And the character built by a lifetime of hunting is a commodity sorely needed in this nation." Yup! A few years ago, the Texas Parks and Wildlife Department started a program where they open up certain hunting seasons a week early for the youth of the state. This gives parents a chance to introduce their children to the sport of hunting. This program has single handedly introduced thousands of youths to the sport of hunting that may not have had the opportunity otherwise. And the benefits from this are exponential.
] More youths participating in the wholesome activity of hunting will have less reason to find themselves involved is less wholesome activities in their teenage years.
] Hunting is a family activity, bringing parents and children closer together.
] Youths involved in hunting will very likely introduce some friends to the sport as well.
] Camouflage is making a fashion comback
