Yes, Doug has joined up with his loved one, Susan, in Savannah, Georgia. Almost all traces of Doug having lived in Portland for almost 40 years are gone, except for his two kids Chirs and Kate.  unable to sit still for more than four minutes, he's already in foward scheme mode, as he has been Canon-izing the vibrant sights and silent sounds of the 300 year old city.

Ginger Peanut Butter Who Knew?

Gilligan might be jealous... yes, Ginger has a new mate with the old stand-by, Peanut Butter. Chimes now offers "Peanut Butter Ginger Chews" Who knew that peanut butter and ginger worked so well together? We were recently victim to impulse buying when we saw these displayed by the cash register at a local natural foods store. Drawn to the old fashioned tin and the interesting flavor combination, we couldn’t resist. Sort of like a slightly spicy and softer Mary Jane, we’ve found our new favorite candy. One question, does it come in chunky?

I snuck RoboDump into the men's room at the office. Unfortunately, today turned out to be the day of a board meeting. Whoops! It still went over well; the office was abuzz all morning with gossip about the guy in the bathroom. Several people theorized it was the CFO. The janitor commented to someone in the hallway that he wanted to clean the restroom but "this guy's been in there all morning."

For some, the ultimate accessory is a piece of jewelry, shoes, or a handbag. For others, it’s a pet. However, not everyone is able to share space with fluffy creatures. A company called Allerca is making it its mission to produce the world’s first hypoallergenic cats. By using a method called “gene silencing”, Allerca is planning to weaken the particular gene that produces the glycoprotein Fel d 1, the most prominent cat allergen. The British Shorthair is the first breed Allerca is working with and the first hypoallergenic kittens are scheduled to be ready in 2007.

Allerca claims to be developing more “lifestyle” pets over the next several years. From customized cars to design it yourself sneakers, it seems as though anything can be tailor-made to your liking.
