myPhoto is a program that generates a photo album on your web site for you with your iPhoto images. How does it do it? Mac OS X comes with a web server pre-installed (called Apache) and myPhoto both configures and activates this server and generates a full featured PHP-based web site.
This 'built-in" web site is always up-to-date and features all of the meaningful data from iPhoto you'd want on your web site--your albums, captions, a search engine, etc. It runs off of your Mac at home (iMac, G4, G5, Mini--whatever!) using your existing Internet connection and is online when you are. If you're worried that you don't have a web site yet, it's ok--install myPhoto and you will. All you have to do is plug in your digital camera, import your photos as you normally would into iPhoto, and your photos are on your web page! And what did you have to do to put them there? Simply install myPhoto. A one time thing. It's that easy. If you want to see a "live" site click here. The program developer, Michael Mulligan, has his site available for view.
