iPhoto Integration With MyPublisher

One of the neatest features in iPhoto is the book publishing feature. For the past few years, our family has done annual "recaps" of the year and made copies available to any family member that wants one.

For some, the book publishing feature in iPhoto my be a bit too narrow of a selection in book size and the templates or themes that Apple offers.

Their Mac application called "MyPublisher" resides in your Applications folder. Once it's opened, it will walk you through the process of assembling and creating a book. The integration of iPhoto into the application is key to making this work (see screen shot). YOu can pick and choose the photos you want to use directly from the library, or create an album of the images you want to use for your book and then select them from that album. By creating the album, you can arrange them in the order you want ahead of time and then place them in sequence while assembling the pages.
