iPhoto to Kodak Gallery + Target Photo Processing

Kodak has a released a free plug-in to upload photos from your iPhoto collection to your Kodak Gallery account using the Export option in iPhoto. The universal binary requires Mac OS X 10.3 or higher and iPhoto version 2 or higher.

To use the plug-in, you select one or more images, albums or events in iPhoto. Then select the Export command (on the File menu or, in v5 on the Share menu). Choose theKodak Gallery tab in the Export dialog box. To export video, you need iPhoto 6.

A Setup button allows you to create a new Kodak Gallery account or point to an existing one. Once connected, you can create new online albums, mark favorites based on iPhoto star rankings and launch your browser to display your albums at the Gallery.

Target Stores uses the Kodak Gallery to upload files to their photo processing. How does it work? The Kodak Gallery website automatically determines what type of upload method is best for your computer and guides you accordingly. That way you can get straight to the good part—your pictures! What happens next? Your photos are stored in secure online albums so you can keep them organized, share with friends, order prints and merchandise, and much more. Target Link

Comments

After downloading and installing the plugin. I restarted iphoto went to export to chose the Kodak Gallery. Error message "Kodak Gallery service is not available for your location." Could not proceed any further.

However, from Kodak Gallery website I could sign in register an account and then upload photos to the website and was able to pick them up from target just fine. Plug in does not work for me.
